Staff Bios

Jack Sturch

Jack Sturch (a.k.a. John Sturch) is the original Founder of the Toronto H.E.L.P. office. Jack has entered into retirement and has passed down the firm to Stephanie Logan.

Jack’s career in law commenced at the Ministry of the Attorney General in 1966. He worked his way up through the legal system within the Provincial Government and in 1974 was appointed as a Justice of the Peace. The next 16 years were spent handing down judgments on accident and traffic matters, as well as taking charges from the general public, signing search warrants and setting bail in criminal matters.

In 1990 Jack decided it was time for a new challenge. He launched into a different direction, taking with him the years of experience and knowledge gained through his court experience. He entered into the growing field of paralegal work as a Provincial Offences Court Agent with a major traffic ticket defence company and for 17 years became well known in the Toronto (Etobicoke) area. The knowledge and friendships that Jack acquired during his many years with the Government have been invaluable in helping him weave his way through the countless levels of bureaucracy within the court system.

Jack joined H.E.L.P. Legal in March of 2007 and has now retired. His successor Stephanie Logan is determined to uphold the reputation Jack spent 17 years creating.
